Indicated for the disinfection of intact external skin or mucous membranes prior to surgical procedures, biopsies, injections, punctures, blood collection, and bladder catheterizations. Additionally, it is effective in the antiseptic treatment of wounds, including decubitus ulcers, varicose ulcers, burns, and infected or superinfected dermatoses.
